Direct Service
Outreach Minsitries
Our mission as a People
of God is to reach out to those in need. The poor and the homeless,
the alienated and the lonely all belong to the one Body of
Christ and deserve our care and support. Join us in our efforts
to meet the needs of others.
Giving Tree

the parish assembly to assist persons in crisis through donations
of goods and money at our Sunday liturgies.
Interfaith Hospitality
Network
Holy Spirit Parish has volunteered to host, or help
another church host, the families in the Interfaith Hospitality
Network for several weeks each year. Many volunteers are needed.
Holy Spirit is again participating in the Saturday Noon Meals
program at Christ United Methodist Church at 400 5th Ave SW.
A number of volunteer opportunities are available for people
and families looking to be of service to others. See the Social
Concerns bulletin board in the narthex to sigh up for these
opportunities. Call John McGuire at 289-6384 for more information.
Sunday Noon Lunch
Holy Spirit participates 2-3 times each
year with preparing and serving a Sunday noon lunch at St.
Francis Church. This program completes the weekly effort to
provide meals to those in need every day of the week.
