Day on the Hill 2008: Three members of the Holy Spirit’s Social Justice Commission were able to participate in the 2008 “Day on the Hill”, sponsored by the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition (www.jrlc.org) of which the Minnesota Catholic Conference is a member. This organization is an advocacy group addressing views for the common good across multiple faiths, and mobilizing these faith communities to influence public policy in Minnesota.

Each year the day includes briefings on issues of concern to the members of the Coalition. This year's four chosen issue to address were: Affordable housing, Ending Poverty, Affordable Healthcare, and Impartial Judiciary Support.  For more information on these briefings click here.

Minnesota Foodshare Wrap-up: Holy Spirit’s drive for Channel One was a huge success. As a parish we contributed over $1230 and 700 pounds of food! Please remember Channel One & the people it serves throughout the year.
