THANKS FOR A GREAT YEAR!

As I reflect on this past year of Youth Choir I realize you have grown in three key ways: musically, spiritually and as a community.

You have grown musically:
Your voices have gotten stronger.
Your ranges have increased.
You have grown in confidence in singing in harmony.
You have sung expressively and prayerfully.

You have grown spiritually:
You have shared your faith in our discussions about scripture.
You have shared your prayers for your friends, family and others in need.
You have grown in understanding music as a ministry to our community.

You have grown as a community:
You have developed relationships and friendships with others.
You have shared in a ministry together for the building up of our parish, and in that have been built up as a choir community.
You’ve had fun together in rehearsal, at mass, and at our social gatherings.

WHAT’S COMING UP?

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Wednesday August 27.
We are going to kick off the year with an ice cream social that night from
7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Come and reconnect with friends and meet new members.

Our first two rehearsals are set for Wednesdays, September 3 and 10.
Please note that rehearsals will start at 7:30 p.m. this year and go until 9:00 p.m.
to accommodate faith formation classes that end at 7:30 p.m.
