For children ages 5-8 years

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLW) is an opportunity for children to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word in a way that they can better understand. Holy Spirit hopes to offer this faith-building CLW experience on Sundays during the 10:00 AM Mass provided there are enough volunteers.

What happens at CLW?

After the Opening Rites of Mass, children ages 5-8 years will be dismissed and escorted by the Prayer Leader and Shepherds to another meeting space where they will continue worship as they listen, reflect on, and respond to age-appropriate readings from the Children’s Lectionary.

Children will be escorted back to the assembly during the offertory song, before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins.
